….For the Full Moon rise what better place to be than at the top of a volcano! We start the walk as the sun is getting lower in the sky. As we slowly make our way to the crater we pass evidence of the past civilizations that inhabited this island. This ancient place hides Astro Archeological sites and the real history is found in the geology. We get to the top for the Sunset and Moon rise and then descend in the Blue Hour.
This is a 2.5 hour walk. If you suffer from vertigo this will be a challenge for you, but one worth taking!

Para la salida de la Luna Llena, ¡qué mejor lugar para estar que en la cima de un volcán! Comenzamos la caminata cuando el sol está bajando en el cielo. A medida que nos dirigimos lentamente hacia el cráter, pasamos por evidencia de las civilizaciones pasadas que habitaron esta isla. Este antiguo lugar esconde sitios astroarqueológicos y la verdadera historia se encuentra en la geología. Llegamos a la cima para la puesta de sol y la salida de la luna y luego descendemos en la hora azul.

…. DURATION: We set off an hour and a half before the sunset, reaching the top to observe the sun setting on the west and the moon rising on the east. This is a hike up a Volcano so you need a certain level of fitness.

WHAT TO BRING/WEAR: Water, wear walking shoes (no flip-flops), jacket (its windy at the top).
MEETING POINT: Meeting point is in Lajares, 15 mins from Corralejo or opt for transport from Corralejo ONLY. Collection from your accommodation at approximately two hours before sunset. Exact time in confirmation email.

DURACIÓN: Salimos una hora y media antes de la puesta de sol y llegamos a la cima para observar la puesta de sol por el oeste y la salida de la luna por el este. Se trata de una experiencia de unas 2,5/3 horas. Se trata de una ascensión a un volcán, por lo que es necesario un cierto nivel de forma física.
Si sufres de vértigo, esto será un reto para ti, ¡pero uno que vale la pena!
QUÉ LLEVAR: Agua, llevar calzado para caminar (no chanclas), chaqueta (hace viento en la cima).
PUNTO DE ENCUENTRO: El punto de encuentro es en Lajares, a 15 minutos de Corralejo o la opción de transporte desde Corralejo. Recogida en su alojamiento aproximadamente dos horas antes de la puesta de sol. Hora exacta en el correo electrónico de confirmación.
